Hospice Resource List
United States Department of Veterans Affairs Bereavement Counseling
Offers bereavement counseling to family members of armed forces personnel, reservists, and National Guardsman who died while on duty. Services are provided at local centers or can be provided in the Family’s home. The website contains contact information for services.
Children of Aging Parents (CAPS)
Provides information, referrals, and support, including support groups and resources for caregivers.
Bereaved Parents of the USA (BP/USA)
A self-help group for bereaved parents, grandparents, and siblings who are suffering after the loss of a child. The organization’s website provides information on the grief process and produces a newsletter called A Journey Together, highlighting local bereavement options. There are local chapter meetings in different cities across the USA.

Donna Cowart, RN over 20 years of hospice experience with expertise in chart audits for eligibility, sales and marketing, financial analysis, planning and budgeting, business development and strategic growth, Medicare compliance, development of new hospice programs and obtaining accreditations for hospice agencies and assisting with vendor negotiations and company acquisitions. Leadership skills include customer service driven, positive attitude, coaching, mentoring, servant leadership, accountability, and empowerment.
